NEW YORK (Reuters) - Continental Airlines (CAL.N) said on Friday its flight attendants will vote on whether to authorize their union to call a strike if the collective bargaining agreement reached on Thursday is not ratified.þþThe airline also said if flight attendants strike or engage in labor disruptions due to wage and benefit reductions, it could be forced to cancel a significant number of flights, which would have a material impact on its results and financial conditions.þþOn Thursday, Continental said it reached an agreement on a contract with the International Association of Machinists (IAM), the flight attendants' union.þþ
