Mayor Rahm Emanuel is expected to announce later today that Dow Chemical will move about 400 new jobs to Chicago for a new sales facility slated to open downtown.þþThe new jobs will be relocated to a new facility over the next three years primarily for sales professionals who will service the entire Midwest, officials said. More details are expected to come out when Emanuel addresses the Executive's Club of Chicago later this morning at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel in Streeterville.þþÿDowÿs commitment to Chicago is a reflection of the great work ethic and business environment in the city,ÿ Emanuel said in comments released by his office.þþÿDow's new office will be a gathering place, an easily accessible, central location in which business can be conducted and ideas will be exchanged.
