Workers at a Caterpillar Joliet plant on strike since May 1 are scheduled to vote on a new contract proposal Wednesday. þþÿThere has not been an agreement reached, but there is a vote Wednesday,ÿ said Timothy O'Brien, president of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 851.
