G.M. Recalls Vehicles for Headlight Problem

  • 12-02-2014
General Motors said Monday that it was recalling 316,357 vehicles in North America because their headlights could stop working. The recall affects the Buick LaCrosse sedan and the Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascender S.U.V. All of the vehicles are from the 2006 through 2009 model years. GM said the low-beam headlights or daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently stop working. The issue does not affect the high-beam headlights, fog lamps or turn signals. The recall is GM’s 79th in North America this year. The automaker recalled a record 30.4 million cars and trucks.
