MANCHESTER, N.H. —þThe union representing workers for New Hampshire Electric Co-op said Thursday morning it has reached a tentative contract agreement with the company.þþWorkers have been on strike for more than a week.þþhe union said it will vote on the contract later Thursday and that the company's board of directors will also need to vote to accept it.þþNHEC officials said the contract is for three and a half years. A board vote on the contract is expected early next week.þþUnion members posted on Facebook about the tentative agreement, saying that picketing for Thursday has been suspended.
