Flight attendants at Northwest Airlines dumped the Teamsters as their union, switching allegiance to the Professional Flight Attendants Association. The National Mediation Board certified the independent PFAA as the new collective bargaining representative for more than 11,000 flight attendants at Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest, effective Friday.þþ
